I’m originally from Rhode Island and spent most of my childhood in Florida. Four years ago, I moved to Alabama, where I currently live. I was adopted at the age of three into a large family and am the second oldest of 17 children.

For the past several years, I’ve been actively involved in children’s ministry at my local church. My family also runs a nonprofit organization that supports foster and adoptive children, and I regularly volunteer with them during community events.

This past year, I went on a mission trip to Africa, which deeply impacted me. I felt a strong calling to return and help people in need. The experience opened my eyes to how blessed I am to live in America, and it ignited a desire in me to make a difference in the lives of children around the world.
