The flat in which we are living has been used by several different missionaries over the years.  The building was already on the property when Lighthouse Children’s Shelter purchased it, so the construction was done many years ago.  It has been several years since any repairs or modifications other than wall paint have been done.  Since there were several cabinets in need of repair, and board members Larry and Penny Sauter (also Abby’s parents) were in the country and ready to help, we decided we would also give the room a facelift.  LCS graciously (and gratefully) allowed us to make any changes we deemed necessary or desirable!
